Reality TV Star Sends A Special Message To A Fellow Floridian and Yachting Enthusiast

MICHIGAN – Captain Sandy knows a thing or two about yachts. She also knows a Florida neighbor when she sees one—and it turns out she lives just a short drive from Cape Coral resident Mike Rogers!

Ahead of tonight’s new episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy left a special Cameo message for Mike, from one Floridian yachtie to another:

“Hi, Mike from Cape Coral! This is from your friends in Florida.

“I hear you’re in Michigan for work and you’re not in Florida with your two yachts. Well, those beautiful yachts will be there when you get back, waiting for you.

“Well, hurry home, but you got a few months left. You’ll get through it, and your beautiful yachts will be waiting for you, and so will your friends.”

Sure, Mike’s two yachts aren’t quite as big as the 170-foot superyachts Captain Sandy commands on Below Deck, but Mike has always been more of a quantity-over-quality kind of guy. After all, he spent 14 long years in Congress, and you’d be hard-pressed to name much he actually delivered for Michiganders.

Don’t worry, Mike. When your little Michigan work trip is over, a warm welcome awaits you back home: two yachts, sunshine, and all your Florida friends. Now that’s a season finale!
