NEW AD: “Tenor” Shows the Father Behind the Fighter

Abdul: “When I became a dad, it changed the way I see the world.”

MICHIGAN – Today, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign released “Tenor,” a new statewide television ad showing Michigan voters the father behind the fighter, and the kind of future he’s fighting for.

The 30-second ad features Abdul with his daughters, Emmalee, eight, and Serene, three, as he reflects on how becoming a father changed the way he sees the world and gave new urgency to his commitment to helping people.

As a doctor and a dad – not a career politician – Abdul will bring a different set of priorities to Washington. He’ll take on the special interests that have made Washington work for them instead of us. Abdul has never taken a dime of corporate PAC money and is running to lower costs, deliver Medicare for All, create good paying jobs, and get money out of politics.

Abdul El-Sayed: When I became a dad, it changed the way I see the world.

I decided to go to medical school to help people. This is about the next step.

I might not have held office before, but we need new people thinking about the future now.

Lower costs. Better healthcare. Jobs. A Michigan our kids deserve. More time with each other.

Too many in Washington spend their time thinking about what’s next for themselves. I’ll be thinking about the people here, who need Washington to do more for them and us.

I’m Abdul El-Sayed, dad, and I approve this message.
