Statement From Abdul El-Sayed After Michigan Gas Prices Hit $5 Mark

MICHIGAN – The following is a statement from Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in the wake of Michigan gas prices hitting the $5 mark after a 20 cent overnight hike: 

“Michiganders are now paying a staggering $5 a gallon for gas and $6.79 a gallon for diesel—raising prices for groceries and everything else,” said Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. “While Michiganders suffer from the massive price hikes brought on by Donald Trump’s illegal war in Iran, Mike Rogers was cashing in with his big oil backers at Trumpapalooza in Dallas. I am the only candidate in this race running to bring down costs for Michiganders and will fight to make life more affordable for Michigan families in the US Senate.”
