Why Is Mike Rogers Campaigning With Ted Cruz, Who Voted To Rip Healthcare Away From Hundreds Of Thousands Of Michiganders?

“Ted Cruz is a deeply unpopular politician who has long supported policies that hurt Michigan families, including voting to cut healthcare for hundreds of thousands of Michiganders,” said campaign spokesperson Cole Wozniak. “His dangerous comments are just the latest example of Mike Rogers and his MAGA allies attempting to distract voters from the fact that the price of gas, groceries, and everything else has skyrocketed due to the failed policies of the Trump administration.”
Just like Ted Cruz, Mike Rogers would be a rubber stamp for Trump in the Senate and for the price hikes that are hurting Michigan families:
- Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill—which Mike Rogers fully backs—is tossing 200,000 Michiganders off their health insurance
- Michigan families have lost $5,619 on average from Donald Trump’s trade wars—more than any state in the entire country
- Mike Rogers fully backs Trump’s illegal war with Iran and dumb trade war with Canada which are spiking costs for Michigan families
- Rogers has championed Trump’s reckless tariffs, which he has called “masterful” and “an absolute win.”
