NEW: Dr. Abdul El-Sayed Leads Michigan Senate Primary with Over a Third of the Vote
MICHIGAN — In a new poll by Lake Research Partners, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed leads the primary pack. In the initial ballot, Abdul receives over a third of the vote (34%), Haley Stevens (31%) follows in second, with Mallory McMorrow (19%) trailing with 15% undecided.

As voters have gotten to know the candidates over the past year, El-Sayed has grown in popularity while Stevens has seen her favorability drop. El-Sayed has higher net favorability (+44), and very favorable ratings (30%), than either Stevens or McMorrow.
“Abdul’s momentum is undeniable,” said campaign spokesperson, Sophie Pollock. “As voters get to know Abdul and his Michigan grit and values, they understand he is the fighter we need in the Senate. Poll after poll shows our support is growing and that Abdul is the candidate to take on Mike Rogers this fall.”
