Senator Elizabeth Warren Endorses Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate

MICHIGAN –  Today, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed earned the endorsement of Senator Elizabeth Warren for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat. Warren’s support is a major national endorsement with just weeks to spare in a primary race that’s locked in a dead heat. 

Senator Warren had previously endorsed State Senator Mallory McMorrow. There is now a clear contrast in the race, Abdul is leading the charge against corporate influence in politics while Haley is being propped up by historic amounts of spending on her behalf by AIPAC-affiliated groups and dark money organizations. 

Senator Warren will join Abdul in Michigan this weekend, July 25, less than two weeks from the August 4 primary, to meet with supporters and energize GOTV efforts. Senator Warren will meet voters in Royal Oak and Flint. More information to come.
