MICHIGAN – Last night, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed went on Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News to talk about his campaign for the United States Senate. As Abdul’s made clear from day one of this campaign, he’s not afraid of Fox News. He will go anywhere and talk to anyone.
Meanwhile, Mike Rogers continues to dodge debate invites and interviews—even from Fox News—because he’s scared to defend his record as a corrupt career politician who sells out Michigan families.

El-Sayed: “Everywhere I go in Michigan, people are talking about the fact that they’ve never had to worry as much about life being as unaffordable as they say right now. Now, I get it. Donald Trump likes to blame everything on his predecessor, but let’s be clear—this is Donald Trump’s economy right now. And he’s about to make everything worse. He’s in a vanity war with the Prime Minister of Canada… now they are raising the tariffs to 50%, what’s that going to do to inflation?”
Jesse Watters: “Look Abdul, I give you credit for facing the music, but some of this stuff is just a little wacky…”
El-Sayed: “You know what’s wacky though? You know what you didn’t ask me about? We have a president of the United States who cares more about the drapes in a ballroom that shouldn’t be built than he cares about a war that he just got us into or that he cares about the affordability crisis. That seems to me to be a little bit wacky. If we want to have a serious conversation about what Michiganders are feeling, I’d love to come back on and talk about getting money out of politics, put money in your pocket, and pass Medicare for All. Because, I’ll tell you, none of that is wacky and it’s what Michiganders want.”

El-Sayed: “I thought you were for the everyday man. If you’re for billionaires more than you’re for the everyday person, you and I disagree.”
Watters: “I just think I have the right to the fruits of my own labor…”
El-Sayed: “Let me answer the question. Billionaires don’t make their money off of their labor. Billionaires make their money off their money…”
On Trump’s Illegal War in Iran:
El-Sayed: “You want to talk about budgets? I’m happy to do that. The guy who used to work on your channel—I think he was like the sixth host on The Five—he wanted to raise our military budget by $1.5 trillion and you don’t seem to be upset about that. To fight a war we don’t know how to get out of? To raise our gas prices to five dollars a gallon? That doesn’t make sense to me.”
