DEBATE DAY: Is Mike Rogers Chickening Out Of Fox Debate?

Rogers Complains About Moderator—But Did Forum With Fox 2’s Roop Raj In 2024 Senate Race

Rogers Has Declined Other Debates With Abdul With WDIV Local 4 Debate And Traverse City Forum Next Week

Debate Begins At 7PM On Fox 2 Detroit—Will Be Empty Podium If Rogers Chickens Out

MICHIGAN – Today, as Dr. Abdul El-Sayed prepares to take the stage to discuss his plans to make life better for the people of Michigan, cowardly career politician Mike Dodgers is nowhere to be found:

“Mike Rogers wants to pretend he is chickening out of tonight’s Fox debate because of its moderator, but we can all see that he is just afraid of sharing a stage with Abdul,” said campaign spokesperson Cole Wozniak. “After all, Mike Rogers attended a forum hosted by Roop Raj in his last Senate race—and has turned down other debates including with NBC’s Local 4. Mike Rogers won’t be at tonight’s debate because he can’t own up to his deeply unpopular policies, and he knows that on a stage with Abdul, he won’t be able to hide.”

Abdul will also be joining the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance for a forum on September 21st in Traverse City. Though both candidates were invited, predictably, Mike Rogers has yet to accept.
