JD Vance Comes To Michigan To Push Data Centers For Mike Rogers
Vance: “I Don’t Think Data Centers Are That Controversial”
REMINDER: Mike Rogers “Can Get Rich Off Data Centers” With Up To $2.6 Million Of Investments In Companies Tied To Data Center Development And Big Tech
Trump: It’s Time To “Let Data Reign”
MICHIGAN – JD Vance came to Michigan to stump for US Senate candidate Mike Rogers— who has millions invested in companies set to profit from the data center boom.
Vance and Trump spent the entire day talking up the benefits of data centers—which a vast majority of Michiganders oppose.
- JD Vance: “I don’t think data centers are that controversial”
- Donald Trump: If [Americans] want to be successful and rich, with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place, let Data Reign.
Despite being a major investor in the companies cashing in on the data center boom, Mike Rogers has flip-flopped on data centers, or as the Detroit Metro Times put it: Mike Rogers loved data centers until voters didn’t.
In response to Trump’s post on data centers, Abdul El-Sayed said “Make no mistake—this is Mike Rogers’ position on data centers. He’s got up to $2.6 million invested in companies cashing in on the data center boom, all while Michiganders watch their utility bills soar. You can’t trust a word out of Mike’s mouth because he’s only out for himself, for Donald Trump, and for Big Tech—not Michigan.”
