MIKE ROGERS FLIP-FLOPS ON WAR IN IRAN… AGAIN!

Rogers defended the war for months. Now his position is changing by the day.

MICHIGAN – Less than 24 hours after saying the war in Iran needed to ‘end quickly,’ Mike Rogers changed his position again today, telling Newsmax the war should continue until Iran’s nuclear threat is ‘curbed.’ The comment marks yet another shift for Rogers, who previously described the war as a ‘win-win-win.’

Abdul El-Sayed issued the following statement in response:

“Flip-flop…flip? Mike Rogers can’t even keep his story straight for 24 hours.

“Mike knows that calling for an end to this war will anger his boss Donald Trump. But he also knows that Michiganders are paying the price for the war every time they fill up their tank. But Mike will always choose Trump over the rest of us. So even with gas pushing $5 a gallon and diesel at record highs, Mike is shifting his position back to supporting the war just 24 hours after saying it should ‘end quickly.’ 

“Michigan needs a U.S. senator, not a Trump sock puppet. I’ve been clear from day one: this war is illegal, it’s unjustifiable, it’s hurting Michiganders, and it needs to end immediately.”
