MICHIGAN – Today, the Abdul for Senate campaign released “March,” a new statewide television ad highlighting the support Dr. Abdul El-Sayed has received from the UAW and exposing Mike Rogers as the corrupt, corporate, career politician he is.
The ad features Josh, a proud UAW member who has spent over 20 years on the line. Earlier this year, Josh helped lead the UAW Local 2093’s successful American Axle strike in Three Rivers to fight for a fair contract. Abdul joined Josh and other UAW Local 2093 on the picket line back in June.
Josh is sick of politicians like Mike Rogers who have spent decades selling out Michigan families to cash corporate checks:

Mike Rogers backed efforts to strip millions of workers of overtime, voted to repeal wage protections for construction workers, criticized UAW workers for strikes, and repeatedly dismissed autoworker concerns about their healthcare coverage.
Abdul—a card-carrying union member and child of the auto industry—has made workers’ rights central to his bid for Senate and is endorsed by the vast majority of Michigan’s major unions—including UAW, AFL-CIO, AFT, and more—which collectively represent over a million working Michiganders.
