NEW AD: “500” Events Across Michigan

Abdul: “You know, I’ve done over 500 events across Michigan and wherever I go, I see the same thing. Too many places left behind, a rigged economy, and corrupt politicians.

MICHIGAN – Today, the Abdul for Senate campaign released “500,” a new statewide television ad reflecting on the hundreds of events across 110 cities Dr. Abdul El-Sayed has done, and the stories he’s heard from Michiganders along the way.

Abdul: “I’m running for every worker whose factory closed. Every parent who worries their kids will never find a job here. For seniors who can’t afford medicine and families who can’t afford childcare. Lower costs. Better healthcare. More time with each other.”

Over the course of this campaign, Abdul has held more than 500 events in 110 cities across Michigan. From Escanaba to Eaton Rapids, Michiganders have spoken about the same challenges: jobs disappearing, rising costs, unaffordable healthcare, and a fear the next generation will have fewer opportunities than the one before it.

“500” is about what Abdul believes Michigan can be instead: a place where working people can build a good life and families can afford to stay, with an economy that works for them—not billionaires and corporations.

Abdul: You know, I’ve done over 500 events across Michigan and wherever I go, I see the same thing.

Too many places left behind, a rigged economy, and corrupt politicians.

I want my kids to be able to experience a Michigan that’s more than a museum of what once was.

I’m running for every worker whose factory closed.

Every parent who worries their kids will never find a job here.

For seniors who can’t afford medicine and families who can’t afford childcare.

Lower costs. Better healthcare. More time with each other.

I’m Abdul El-Sayed and I approve this message.
