NEW VIDEO: Three-Time Trump Voter Talks Buyer’s Remorse and Why He’s Taking a Closer Look at Abdul

During Upper Peninsula Bus Tour, Abdul and Trump-Voting Union Leader Discuss Workers’ Rights, Corporate Influence, and Mike Rogers

MICHIGAN — During a stop in Iron Mountain on his recent bus tour across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed sat down for coffee with a three-time Donald Trump voter who opened up about his buyer’s remorse, frustration with Trump’s attacks on unions, and why he’s considering voting for Abdul.

Wyatt, a 28-year-old father, VA employee, and local union leader, said he was initially drawn to Trump’s promise to drain the swamp but has since grown disillusioned with his treatment of working people.

“Definite buyer’s remorse without a doubt,” Wyatt said. “Primarily because maybe he has become part of that swamp that he just, you know, so adamantly was against. And also just the targeting that he has on not only federal unions, but also private sector unions.”

Despite disagreeing with Abdul on some issues, Wyatt said his support for unions and opposition to corporate money in politics caught his attention.

“Your pro-union stance definitely is what brought me in,” Wyatt said. “I disagree with some things, but also… I see a lot of good that you want for just average day Americans as well.” He added, “I love the, you know, money out of politics stance that you have.”

Wyatt also expressed frustration with Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers and his loyalty to Trump.

“I don’t want another just Trump yes man, I need somebody that can also think for themselves,” Wyatt said.

Despite their political differences, Abdul and Wyatt found common ground as fathers who want a better future for their children. Their conversation, which also touched on job security and religious freedom, reflects Abdul’s commitment to going everywhere, talking to everybody, and earning the support of Michiganders across the political spectrum.
