ICYMI: Representative Greg Casar Endorses Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate

MICHIGAN –  Yesterday, Representative Greg Casar announced his endorsement of Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate. Rep. Casar’s career in advocacy and public service is extensive, working for Texans as a labor organizer before being elected to the Austin City Council in 2014. In Congress, Rep. Casar has used his office to fight for the most vulnerable, including being an original co-sponsor of the PRO Act, which would greatly expand the rights of workers to organize in their workplaces, and Medicare for All. He serves as Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Elected in 2022 for Texas’ 35th district, he represents parts of San Antonio, Austin, and surrounding areas.
