Mike Rogers Says “Texas And Florida” Are Superior To Michigan, Flip-Flops On Iran YET AGAIN In Rambling, Incoherent Press Conference

Mike Rogers Flip-Flops On Iran YET AGAIN — “Now Is The Time To Start Winding This Up”

Rogers Praises “Texas And Florida” As Superior to Michigan

MICHIGAN – Fresh off his second trip to Texas this month, Mike Rogers finally found some time to take questions from Michigan reporters earlier today. And, well, now we know why he doesn’t do it more often.

During a rambling, incoherent reverie about Florida and Texas, Rogers served up plenty of words, remarkably few answers, and more than a few reminders of why public appearances are such a rare occasion.

We listened so you didn’t have to. Here are the key takeaways:

Mike Rogers—who is running for Senate in MICHIGAN—praised “TEXAS AND FLORIDA” as model states.

  • Rogers expressed a desire for Michigan to be more like his home state of Florida, where he lives in a multi-million dollar mansion with two yachts.
  • He also admired Texas as an example to follow, another state Rogers prefers to spend his time in over Michigan. He recently trekked to Dallas, Texas for Trumpapalooza to deliver the biggest speech of his campaign… where he failed to mention the economy a single time

He continues to tell lies to Michigan voters to distract from his full-throated support of Trump’s war in Iran.

  • When asked about the war today, Rogers rambled: “My argument is you just can’t let it go and linger. Now is the time to start winding this thing up.”
  • But is that actually his argument? It wasn’t yesterday, when Rogers praised the “wonderful job” Trump is doing with the Iran War.
  • Yet on Monday, he released an ad stating that he wanted to “end the war quickly.”
  • This all comes after spending months cheerleading Trump’s war and declaring it “a win-win-win.”

“It’s starting to become clear why they rarely let this man within a mile of a live microphone,” said Abdul for Senate Spokesperson Cole Wozniak. “In the span of three days, Mike Rogers has gone from full-throated support of the war in Iran—calling it a ‘win-win-win’—to calling for the war to end, but then went back on his position just one day later, saying the Trump administration is doing a ‘wonderful job’ with the war. Michiganders want a Senator they can trust—that’s why this November they will elect Abdul, who has opposed Donald Trump’s illegal war from day one and is the only candidate with a plan to bring down gas prices for Michigan families.”
