Mike Rogers To (FINALLY) Debate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed

MICHIGAN – Today, after spending weeks dodging debate after debate, Mike Rogers will finally appear for a debate with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed in Grand Rapids.

“Tonight on the debate stage, the contrast between Mike Rogers and Dr. Abdul El-Sayed will be stark,” said Abdul for U.S. Senate spokesperson Cole Wozniak. “Just like we’ve seen from Trump, there’s no question Mike Rogers will stoop to bad faith attacks to distract from the suffering being inflicted on Michiganders every single day. 

“Michigan will see exactly why Rogers has spent his campaign hiding from debates and literally running away from reporters asking him tough questions.

“He has no defense for his deep record of corruption and higher costs. He has no defense for cheerleading Trump’s illegal Iran war and foolish tariff war while Michigan families strain under extreme costs. 

“Tonight, voters will see Rogers for the corrupt career politician he is. And they will see Abdul for who he is—a doctor and public health leader who will always put working Michiganders first.”
